Amanda DeLeon
A couple of years ago I had the good fortune of meeting Amanda DeLeon during Austin Fashion Week. She and I were on a team and my jewelry was a good fit with her clothing. This made me proud because I loved, loved what I saw of her creations. I was selfishly sad to see her leave Austin but New Orleans was calling to her. I'm glad she answered that call because she has truly blossomed and grown. She is coming into her own as an artist and I was thrilled when I saw pictures of her latest runway show during Nola Fashion Week that featured her FW2012 line.
