Deco Delights
I recently attended a party. It was a reception. It was a celebration. The lovely couple had married a few days prior in a small, private ceremony. At the four-hour reception all the guests arrived in their finest 20's or 30's inspired fashions. The bride and groom were delighted that everyone made an effort to dress the part. It was so much fun and felt a bit like we'd time traveled together to have a roaring good time.
Some went more Great Gatsby, others, like myself, went more Downton Abbey. Here's a peek at what I wore. Alas, I had to forego the long gloves. It was a hot and humid evening.
