Dot!
Today is International Dot Day! It’s meant to encourage kids to think of a way they can make a difference. This day was inspired by Peter Reynolds' book, “The Dot.”
In “The Dot” Vashti is upset because she doesn’t think she can draw. Her art teacher suggests that she make a mark and see where it takes her. Vashti jabs at the paper and makes a dot.
I figure it’s a good read for us grown-ups too. So go make your mark!
