Spiked
Spikes and studs are nothing new in fashion, but for the last couple of years they've become quite popular amongst the DIY bloggers. The spikes and studs come in such a variety of shapes and sizes so you have vast versatility. They’re also readily available online and in craft stores. I was surprised by the options for attaching them. Many people glue them on while some projects require making a hole in the item you are up cycling or revamping. I especially like the idea of using them as a juxtaposition against something more feminine like the dress below with the seriously spiked belt.
I am adding some more DIY projects to my never-ending list!
